Re: POEMS ABOUT BEACH
Love
A thousand grains of sand
In time I’ll understand
The way I also sacrifice
Myself to be so nice
I listen to the waves crash
On me, girls never mash
I watch an orange flare
I’m left with my despair
By myself on a beach
With another girl out of reach
My heart bleeds to the moon
Someday, maybe one day, soon
I’ll find myself with another
My heart will beat with the other
We will lay in the sand
Our presence will be the demand
As the moon chases the sun
I mimic in my earthly run
The sun sets, the moon’s alone
Solitary in the sky, loneliness known
The beloved light reflected away
“Go man” is all I could say
As I gave my light away
Maybe another, another day
By myself on a beach
With another girl out of reach
My heart bleeds to the moon
Someday, maybe one day, soon
I’ll find myself with another
My heart will beat with the other
We will lay on the sand
Our presence will be the demand
Moon sets, black night sets in
My nightly demon’s torments begin
I sit on soft beach sand
Waiting for the day I’ll understand
By myself on a beach
With another girl out of reach
My heart bleeds to the moon
Someday, maybe one day, soon
I’ll find myself with another
My heart will beat with the other
We will lay in the sand

Re: POEMS ABOUT BEACH
Another Near To Perfect Day
In the sky the sun brightly shining the blue sky with some clouds of gray
On an afternoon in late October another near to perfect day
The white surf waves are gently rolling one reason no surfer in sight
And the silver gulls on the white beach search for food in the warm sunlight
An artist may well sketch such beauty and writers about it may write
By the coastal town on the surf beach there is beauty in peace and quiet
Today the ocean is not roaring no big waves for surfers to ride
The waves on the beach gently lapping so timid the sea at low tide
In the park the magpie larks calling the only notes they sing pee wee
And wattlebirds on the flowering coastal banksias their harsh calls familiar to me
On a beautiful day in the Springtime of around 24 degrees
And there is a cool sort of freshness in the cool freshening coastal breeze
Save for the silver gulls the beach is deserted and so clean is the fresh coastal air
A good memory to keep and to cherish and a good memory with others to share.

Re: POEMS ABOUT BEACH
Sandcastle
Little children cheery
Whitish teeth amid
Chuckling faces
Little hands, little legs
Sunburnt sandblazed faces
On windswept beach
A sandcastle taking shape
Each tap, each chuckle
A new feat done
The rolling sea
Playing rhythm to
The orchestration
Of a dream carved
In the stars and the moon
Sandcastle in a sandwall
A tiny little muddy pool
At the edge
Little boys and girls
Shaping their future on the beach
Their parents playing cheerleaders

Pearly teeth dazzling
lighting up their smiles
Little hands, little legs
piling up the sand on
windswept beach
